Desc: Tim's Uncle Robert always brings him unusual presents. Unfortunately, they are usually impractical and Tim isn't allowed to keep them. This year's present is very unusual--Tim's very own cloud. At first, Tim is delighted with his new pet but, gradually, he discovers that it's not necessarily a good thing. After all, when there are no other clouds in the sky, his cloud does look rather lonely. Eventually Tim makes the ultimate sacrifice and lets the cloud go. However, his uncle's gift continues to provide Tim with a useful service. Fully illustrated in colour, this is an entertaining read for young readers beginning to need longer books. |
